Log Cabin Grist Mill
Volunteers are needed to help construct an historic Log Cabin Grist Mill in Centennial Park at 300 South Center Street during the months of May through August 2014. Footings will be poured and a 4 ft. concrete block wall will be built. A log cabin will then be rebuilt log by log on the foundation.

An 8-foot water wheel will be built and attached to the side of the log cabin. There will be work for men, women, and teens to mix concrete and mortar, rebuild the log cabin, chink the logs, shingle the roof, build the waterwheel, install an ornamental steel fence and finish the ground work around the mill.

Those interested in volunteering, please contact Dan Adams by calling 801-756-3724 or by email.
