Registration


Season Dates: April 15 - May 27

Registration Deadline: February 22, 2023 at 5:00 pm

Registration will remain open for one week  with the $5 late fee (unless the league fills before that time).


Registration Fees:

  • PreK-2nd Grade - $39
  • 3rd-4th Grade - $44
  • 5th-12th Grade - $54
Non-Residents (Alpine, Highland, Cedar Hills etc.) pay an additional $20 fee.
1st-4th Grades wear the reusable Red/Silver jerseys. A new one can be purchased for $8 upon registration if needed. 

Divisions Game days Season  
Pk-4th grade 5 Saturday + 3 weeknight games 8 game season, no tournament April 15-May 27
5th-9th grade Multi city leagues- Sat./Wknight games 7 games + single elim. tournament April 15- May 27
HS Coed Mainly Monday & some Thursday gms 6 games season + tournament March 21 - May 19

Team Formation

Grades 1st-4th: AF Recreation Department utilizes our "Standard Method" for organizing registrants into teams for these grades.

Standard Method:

1- A Head to head request is guaranteed, if in the same division

2- Organized by using the ASD school boundaries the participant lives in or attends 

3- Organized by address into neighborhood area

A player may play up one grade level only if their parent volunteers as the Coach of the team. Limited to 2 players playing up per team. Applicable to all leagues 1st-12th grade.


Grades 5th-6th: A Coach may present a roster of up to 4 players to be placed on his/her team (with parent’s consent). Additional players will be added by AFR to complete the team using our "Standard" method. Individuals not registering with a specific partial team, will be placed onto a team using our "Standard" method. Deadline Passed

Grades 7th-9th: A Coach may present a roster of up to 7 players to be placed on his/her team (with parent’s consent). Additional players will be added by AFR to complete the team using our "Standard" method. Individuals not registering with a specific partial team, will be placed onto a team using our "Standard" method. Deadline Passed

Grades 10th-12th Coed: Teams must be completely self formed. Must have a minimum of 8 players with a maximum of 12 players. If you would like to create your own team follow the link below to submit a team roster. Teams must be approved and entered in our system before each player can register. You will receive an email back to let you know if your team has been approved or not, based on the parameters. Once your team has been approved, you will receive instructions for how to register each individual directly to your team online.   Deadline Passed
